ACFA Statement on Traceability
Traceability is an integral part of Alberta feedlot operations, enabling producers to make informed animal health and management decisions. Effective traceability throughout the entire Canadian beef supply chain would allow for rapid identification and response to food safety issues, disease outbreaks and emergency situations.
